The Chapel Hill Ex-Students Association has been awarding scholarships to needy and deserving Chapel Hill Graduates since about 1994. Each year the scholarships have increased and for the year 2008, two scholarships of $1500.00 each were given to selected students who apply for the scholarships. This year scholarships were awarded to Christin Turner and Kimberly Meadows.

The Association has appointed four non-disclosed members to consider the applications received and to select the most deserving students to receive the financial assistance. If you know of any graduating seniors who can use the scholarships, please advise them to contact Frances Palmer, the high school counselor with the school district, and she will assist them in filling out their applications. If there is a need for further information or assistance, contact any of the Officers or Directors listed on the last sheet of this newsletter, and they will be happy to help.
